All our meat is raised naturally.

Our Beef is grass fed on our naturally maintained pastures using a rotational grazing system which is great for the environment and great for the health of our animals.  We do not give medications of any kind, no antibiotics, no steroids, no growth hormone, no worming medicine, no pesticide (or fly killer).  We use only manure and ash on the fields.  No chemical fertilizers, no herbicide and no pesticide.  During the winter months, the cows eat hay supplemented with silage which contains no genetically modified ingredients.

Our Pork is pastured on naturally maintained fields and gets a supply of leftover vegetables and kitchen extras such as bread, eggs and milk products.  We supplement with a healthy grain containing no genetically modified ingredients -- though it is not certified organic.

Butchering is done at a small, locally owned slaughterhouse that allows us to be present when the meat is being cut and packaged.  This allows us to make last minute decisions about the final product in order to bring the best possible cuts of meat to you.  This facility is a USDA facility that is extremely clean and well run.

Firewood $275 per cord:
Seasoned cordwood split by hand with a maul.  This method gives a cleaner split with less jagged pieces and less waste.  Logs are 16" to 18" in length.  Price includes delivery.  This wood is harvested on our farm and is far from the Asian Longhorn Beetle infestation!

Eggs:
Our eggs are farm fresh, raised by us from day old chicks.  They are free range and have access to an naturally maintained pasture area that is fenced in by predator proof poultry fencing.  They are fed a healthy grain that contains no medications, growth enhancing products or meat products.

Bread and Granola:
Our breads contain no genetically modified ingredients, no trans fats, and are baked the morning of the farmers' market and/or distribution day for www.MassFoodCoop.org.  We typically have English Muffin bread, Cinnamon Swirl bread, Finnish (Cardamom) bread, Baguette, Whole Wheat Hamburger rolls and Granola.

Maple Syrup:
Produced from our own trees on Maple Heights Farm.
